Dubai Medical University (DMU) embodies the visionary legacy of the late H.E. Saeed Ahmed Lootah, a trailblazer in UAE education. The inception of Dubai Medical College for Girls in 1986 and Dubai

Pharmacy College in 1992 attests to his commitment. Recognizing the importance of interdisciplinary

collaboration and a holistic approach to healthcare education, the transformative merger of these

established institutions, along with the recent addition of the College of Nursing in 2023, marks a

significant milestone—the birth of Dubai Medical University.
