Trinity's Political Science program offers a comprehensive education in political theory, international relations, and public policy. Students gain a deep understanding of political systems, develop critical thinking and research skills, and prepare for careers in journalism, finance, civil service, and international organizations. The program features opportunities for international exchanges and a Capstone research project.

• The Political Science Department has been an important part of the curriculum since 1855.
• Students have the opportunity to research and undertake a Capstone research project on a topic of their choice in their fourth year.
• The Department of Political Science is a partner in Erasmus exchanges with the Institut d’ Études Politiques in Strasbourg and Paris, the University of Zurich, the University of Bologna and the University of Mannheim.
