The program covers a diverse range of modules, including photography and video, television studies, music industry management, representation in the media, audiences and fandoms, journalism, political communication, advertising and consumption, and writing for the screen. Students can choose from French or Mandarin, starting at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels.

The program is taught by DMU's experts in media, television, and cultural studies, as well as experienced practitioners in public relations and new media.

Graduates have gone on to work in fields such as journalism, PR, media production, marketing, and as editors at leading organizations like Brunswick, JMM PR, AKQA, Mentorn Media, Independent New Media, Yours Magazine, and Universal Pictures.
