The Graduate Pathway in Public Administration, a two-semester program at UAB, prepares international students for a graduate degree in Public Administration (MPA) through academic, language, and cultural support. Students take credit-earning courses, ensuring progression to the MPA program upon completion, subject to meeting the GPA and ELI requirements. The program provides a unique opportunity for international students to integrate with domestic students and gain the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in a US graduate program.

Degree Overview:
- Overview: The Graduate Pathway in Public Administration is a two-semester program designed to prepare students for a nationally-ranked UAB graduate degree program in Public Administration (MPA). It equips them with the knowledge and skills required for progression to a graduate degree program.
- Description: The program offers a curriculum consisting of credit-earning courses that guarantee progression to a graduate degree program upon successful completion. Students benefit from fully integrated classes with both domestic and international students on campus, learning from highly trained university instructors and tutors.

- Progression: Students who successfully complete the Graduate Pathway program are guaranteed progression to a UAB graduate degree program in Public Administration (MPA) upon submission of additional required application materials.
- Progression Requirements: To be eligible for progression, students must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 in graduate-level courses and a minimum of 80% in all required English Language Institute (ELI) courses.
- Program Length: The program spans two semesters.
- Class Size: The program has a class size of 14 students. The 2025/26 intake starts on January 8, 2025, and ends on August 15, 2025.
