MSc Criminal Justice and Criminology

Overview

The MSc Criminal Justice and Criminology is a postgraduate course designed for those interested in the critical social and political challenges presented by crime. Course Description

The course is intellectually challenging and fosters a deep-level understanding of how the justice and penal system works. What You Will Study

The MSc programme begins with an introduction to the nature of crime and contemporary criminal justice policy. It examines the main elements of modern criminal justice systems, such as the police, courts, prisons, probation, the media, and private security.

How You Will Learn

Entry Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree (2:2 or above) in criminology or a related subject
  • Substantial and relevant professional experience (without a degree)
  • IELTS 6.0 with 6.0 in each skill area (for non-native English speakers)
