It includes a core sequence in calculus, mathematical reasoning, linear algebra, and an elective in higher-level mathematics or statistics. To maintain enrollment, students must meet GPA requirements and continue taking courses in their major or minor each year.

- Required Courses:
- MATH 1510 Calculus I (4 credits)
- MATH 1520 Calculus II (4 credits)
- MATH 2530 Calculus III (4 credits)
- MATH 2660 Principles of Mathematics (3 credits)
- MATH 3120 Introduction to Linear Algebra (3 credits)
- At least one additional 3000 or 4000 level MATH or STAT course (3 credits)
- Total Credits: 21
Other:
- Continuation Standards: Students must have a minimum of a 2.00 cumulative GPA in their mathematics minor courses by the conclusion of their sophomore year, must maintain a minimum of 2.00 cumulative GPA in these courses at the conclusion of each semester thereafter, and must be registered in at least one course counting toward their major or minor in each academic year (until all requirements are completed).
- SLU-Madrid: Students can complete all or part of the mathematics minor at SLU’s campus in Madrid.
