Wichita State's undergraduate certificate in Graphic Narrative Coding and Accessibility combines hands-on learning and analytical problem solving in three rapidly growing fields: comics, computer science and disability studies. Students gain practical experience, and a portfolio, by translating comics for accessibility, the digital humanities and other uses.


Outline:

  • This certificate is multidisciplinary, is open to students in every major and is comprised of 12 credit hours—including two required courses, ID 405: Seminar in Applied Innovation and ENGL 377: Graphic Novels.
  • The remaining electives are chosen based on your interests and career goals.
