MPhil and PhD Degrees:
- First or second class honours degree from a UK university, or equivalent qualification from a non-UK institution.
- Applicants with other qualifications will be considered based on their merits and research proposal.
Direct PhD Application:
- MPhil/MRes Degree:
- Awarded by a UK university or
- Equivalent degree from a non-UK institution with appropriate subject area alignment to proposed PhD research.
- Exceptionally:
- Outstanding honours degree or taught Master's degree in relevant field. AND
- Significant research experience at postgraduate level demonstrated by published peer-reviewed works.
EU and International Applicants:
- Qualifications considered equivalent to those listed above.
