Entry Requirements
EU Home Students:
- You must hold a good first degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject from a recognised UK or overseas institution of higher education.
- This typically means a 2:1 degree or a postgraduate diploma with merit.
- You may also be considered if you have significant experience in the creative writing and publishing industry.
International Overseas Students:
- You must hold a good first degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject from a recognised higher education institution.
- International students whose first language is not English must also satisfy our English language requirements.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 7.0 overall, with no less than 6.5 in any one component.
- A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 92 on the internet-based test (iBT), with no less than 22 in any one component.
- A Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 63 overall, with no less than 59 in any one component.
