The Fermentation Science Minor (for Biochemistry Majors) at Eastern Michigan University is a 20-21 credit hour program that provides students with a foundation in the science and technology of fermentation. Students will learn about the principles of fermentation, the different types of fermented products, and the applications of fermentation in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
