The Bachelor of Science in Animal Science program at Roseworthy campus equips students with knowledge and skills to enhance the productivity and welfare of animals. Through hands-on experience, students develop practical abilities in handling and caring for various species. The program draws on the university's expertise in animal and veterinary sciences, preparing graduates for careers in animal science, wildlife management, and related fields.

Degree Overview:

The Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) program prepares students for success in the lab and the field by providing knowledge and skills to positively influence the productivity and welfare of livestock, pets, zoo animals, and wildlife. Students will build practical skills through 200 hours of professional work experience, work with a variety of species, including livestock, horses, wildlife, companion animals, and laboratory animals, and join a close-knit, animal-focused community at the Roseworthy campus. The program draws on the University's internationally recognized expertise in animal and veterinary sciences.
