Degree Overview:

- Minimum program GPA of 2.00
- 50% (30 credits) of coursework must be completed at Douglas College
- Time limit to complete program graduation requirements: seven (7) years
- Course Requirements
- 18 or more credits in Economics
- Nine of those 18 credits must be second-year courses (ECON 1103, ECON 2280, ECON 2350, ECON 2408, ECON 2460, ECON 2490, ECON 2491, ECON 3101, ECON 3201, ECON 3300, ECON 3450 etc.)
- Four additional ECON courses, of which at least three are second-year university transferable economics courses
- Additional Requirements for an Associate of Arts Degree at any B.C. college
- 6 credits in first-year English electives
- 6 credits in first-year Humanities electives
- 6 credits in first-year Social Sciences electives
- 6 credits in first-year Arts electives
- 18 credits in second-year Arts electives in 2 or more subject areas
- 3 credits in first-year Lab Science elective
- 3 credits in first-year Math, Statistics or Computing Science elective
