Patliputra University, Patna was established on March 18, 2018, by the Government of Bihar. It oversees all colleges in Patna and Nalanda districts, except those affiliated with Patna University. The university manages 25 constituent colleges, two government girls colleges, three minority colleges, and numerous affiliated colleges.
