Student services
The Student Council is a representative body composed of students, whose role covers various proactive, advisory and monitory functions.
Housing services
- Accommodation in a Hall of Residence: Access to accommodation and cafeteria services as well as the related scholarships is provided for by a Public Call for Applications.
- Private accommodation: There is also an on-line service that, within the framework of an agreement with the Università degli Studi di Perugia, helps students find certified private accommodations at favorable conditions and without having to pay a commission.
- Short term accommodation: Should you need a place to stay temporarily you can opt for a Youth Hostel or a Hotel.
Library services
The Library Service Center (Centro Servizi Bibliotecari - CSB) manages several libraries located throughout Perugia and Terni.
ICT services
Most departments have one or more IT labs which are freely available to our students.
Medical services
The Università degli studi di Perugia offers its non-resident students (both EU students and non EU students) the opportunity to take advantage of free basic health care provided by general practitioners or emergency medical care doctors.
Student Life
Sports facilities
The Università degli Studi di Perugia offers several sports services and facilities:
- The "G. Bambagioni" University Sports and Recreation Complex is a modern facility located just outside the city center and only a few minutes away from the Department of Veterinary Medicine and that of Agricultural Sciences
- The University Swimming Pool is open to both University students and the general public. The facility has been recently renovated.
- University Sports Center- CUS is part of the National network of University Sports Centers (CUSI, Centro Universitario Sportivo Italiano) aiming at promoting a healthy lifestyle and sports among University students.
Student clubs
There are several associations at the Università degli Studi di Perugia which offer students the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities:
- The University Theatre Center (CUT) offers educational sessions as well as the chance to take part in plays.
- The University also manages a Choir, directed by Maestro Marta Alunni Pini. Both students and staff can participate.
- The University also has a Chamber Orchestra. Only Italian and enrolled foreign students wishing to join the Orchestra may audition. The Orchestra collaborates with the Choir as well as with various soloists.
