Student Life

Campus life

Sopron is surrounded by the foothills of the Alps, thus it is characterized by a beautiful hilly landscape, which is ideal for outdoor activities like jogging, mountain biking and hiking. Lake Fertő, Central Europe’s largest endorheic lake, is also very close to the town.

Sports facilities

We are offering you several sport activities in the afternoons such as ball games and aerobic. Free swimming tickets are also available.

Student clubs

The Dance group was founded mainly by university students. They represented the progressive branch of folk dance with a new attitude and in an authentic way. Their influence is still felt in Transdanubia. The company has trained and provided many experts for the region. The Dance Circle has toured in Transylvania several times, and has performed in Germany, Austria, France and Ireland. Their primary aim is not the training of professional dancers or performing on stage, but inspiring students with an appreciation of our common treasure, the folk dance.
