Housing services
The Barcelona GSE Admissions Office is happy to assist new master's students looking to establish their student lives quickly and comfortably. There are several types of accommodation that we hope will fit every budget and preference.Typical living arrangements that students choose include:
- Staying at a student residence hall
- Renting an apartment
- Renting a room in a shared apartment with other students
Library services
Students at the Barcelona GSE have access to the world-class research libraries
- UPF Library
- Over 500,000 publications and more than 6,000 periodical subscriptions
- Electronic Library: on-line access to full-text information resources including catalogs/databases, over 10,000 electronic journals, 6,700 electronic books
- Long opening hours, including 24-hour access during exam periods.
ICT services
The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics launched a new online platform for alumni of the Master’s programs. The platform offers several ways for alumni to reconnect with classmates, find other alumni working in their industry, and participate in alumni activities wherever they are currently living.

Campus life
With one campus just steps from the Mediterranean Sea and the other in the middle of a beautiful mountain landscape, Barcelona GSE students and researchers have two unique environments for their academic activities.
Barcelona GSE study programs and research centers are located on two main campuses:
- Ciutadella Campus in the center of Barcelona
- Bellaterra Campus a short distance outside the city
Sports facilities
Annual "futsal" (indoor football) tournament. Teams matched Master's students against alumni and faculty.

Student clubs
A few times each term, we organize social events to give students a chance to relax—and leave the library! Students, alumni, and professors are invited to participate in events such as picnics on campus and excursions to nearby nature parks or wineries.

All Barcelona GSE master degrees have been recognized by the Catalan and Spanish Education authorities within the framework of the Bologna Process (in Spanish, “Master Universitario o Master Oficial”).
The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics was distinguished as one of only eight top research institutions of excellence with an international impact in the framework of the Severo Ochoa Program.
