Housing services
Students of the University of Oulu have active lives, both on the campus and off-campus. Students have possibilities for inexpensive clubs and organisations, and many different type of leisure time activities. Accomodation can be easily arranged with the student housing foundation PSOAS and several housing options around the Oulu area offer comfortable living near campus.
Library services
Oulu University Library is a scientific library, the task of which is to provide library and information services for the researchers, teachers and students of the University of Oulu.
ICT services
University campus offers students and staff free wireless internet access and variety of ICT facilities. The public 5G test network is being built in the Linnanmaa campus and will be available for students soon.
Medical services
The Finnish Student Health Service FSHS is an expert in student healthcare and provides targeted low-threshold services designed to provide long-term health benefits for university students. They offer services for general health, oral health and mental health.

- Linnanmaa
The main campus building in Linnanmaa is a large complex, where all parts are connected. From the north end to the south end runs Väylä, the interior street.
The campus is located five kilometres to the north of the center of Oulu. The campus has residential buildings for thousands of students, as well as a chapel and sports hall.
- Kontinkangas
The Kontinkangas campus in Oulu consists of the faculties of Medicine, and Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, as well as Oulu University Hospital.
Sports facilities
Physical exercise is a good balance for studying and it supports your wellbeing. University Sports of Oulu (OKKL) offers versatile sports and wellness services to the students and staff of the universities in Oulu (University of Oulu, Oulu University of Applied Sciences and Diaconia University of Applied Sciences). The activities consist of more than 50 different sports or exercise services. You gain access to the sports and academic sport services by purchasing the Sports Pass.
Student clubs
The Student Union of the University of Oulu (OYY) is an organization for students by students. All the degree students of the University of Oulu are our members. Doctoral students and exchange students can apply for our membership.
