Student services
The Deanship of Student Services (DSS) is responsible for those aspects of student life which extend beyond the classroom. The DSS is committed to encouraging the personal development and growth of students through the organization of a variety of co-and extra-curricular activities, which include cultural, social, sport and entertainment programs. In addition, the DSS is responsible for the provision of a variety of services.
Housing services
Ajman University’s Student Hostels are operated in accordance with all institutional policies and regulations, under the authority and supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs. Facilities are modern, comfortable and conducive to studying and socializing.
Library services
AU’s Library and Learning Resources Center is a dynamic information hub – intellectual matter is available via online technology as well as traditional sources.
ICT services
Ajman University (AU) provides computing, networking, information and telecommunication resources to the university community so as to support teaching, research, and efficient administrative processes. Access to Information Technology resources is granted to members of the university community who are enrolled students, employees, or academic staff members.
Medical services
The facilities for healthcare are on campus. Critical medical cases are often referred to nearby hospitals.

Campus life
AU located in the city of Ajman which is ranked 61st among the world’s top 100 destinations for students, thanks to its beautiful seaside setting and proximity to Dubai. The Emirate of Ajman, the smallest of the seven in the UAE, is only 30 minutes from the Dubai International Airport. The university’s buildings are located in one area but, separated within walking distance.
Sports facilities
Ajman University boasts a modern sports complex which includes an indoor 25-meter swimming pool, a multi-sports hall, two fitness centers and locker rooms, as well as billiard, table-tennis, and chess areas. The sports complex also includes outdoor playing fields for volleyball, basketball, and football. All sports activities have professional trainers to foster skills and safety; the swimming pool is monitored by lifeguards at all times.

Accreditation
- Ajman University’s Bachelor of Science in Accounting has been accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- The Bachelor of Science programs in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology.
- The Architecture Program at Ajman University (AU) has earned Validation status from UNESCO-UIA, the International Union of Architects.
