The 2-Year MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation for Impact at Audencia aims to equip students with the skills to balance profitability and social/environmental impact when creating or evaluating new businesses, projects, or initiatives. The program emphasizes an experiential approach, combining theoretical courses with immersion in Audencia's partner organizations, encouraging students to act, observe, and reflect. Graduates build business models around customer needs, societal demands, and environmental concerns, working on real business projects with creation-phase entrepreneurs within the local ecosystem. The program fosters networking opportunities in Nantes, Europe, and internationally, leveraging Audencia's high ranking in corporate social responsibility and sustainability. The program is a full-time, 26-month (maximum) Master of Science degree taught in English at the Audencia Atlantic Campus in Nantes. It has 30 places available and starts September 1st, 2025. A 4-6 month internship or work experience is included. Outline:

The program's first year is compulsory and takes place in Nantes. It's structured around advanced management courses covering financial analysis, management control, strategic management, entrepreneurial projects and business plans, business simulation, customer experience and branding, financing international projects, team management and leadership, cybersecurity, and a foreign language. It also includes GAIA courses (Ecological & Social Transition Management) addressing ecological and social transition challenges. These courses utilize immersive teaching and a network of partners (social and solidarity economy actors, NGOs, trade unions, public and private entities) to provide practical experience in ecological and social transition. Specific GAIA course topics include ecology and biodiversity, climate science for business, geopolitical strategies of energy and technology, impact finance, nature-inspired innovation and marketing, strategizing and ethical challenges, spreading impact, consulting projects for sustainable businesses, introduction to research methods, a foreign language, and sport. The curriculum includes courses such as Entrepreneurial Identity and Behavior, What is Entrepreneurship?, Entrepreneurial well-being, Creating business opportunities and models, Business Marketing, Sales and Digital, Business Budgeting and Financial Commitments, Analyzing the impact of entrepreneurship on the economy and society, Sustainable Business Growth, Mad course - Making a difference, Entrepreneurship and Policy, Strategic Foresight for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Business Judgement, Mentoring and coaching in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and Entrepreneurial Finance. The program culminates in a 4-6 month internship or work experience in France or abroad, followed by a Master's thesis involving in-depth study of a relevant topic.


Teaching:

The program uses a combination of theoretical and practical sequences (face-to-face or distance learning), employing business simulations, case studies, and interactive lessons.
