Degree Overview:
The 2-Year MSc in Data Management in Corporate Finance at Audencia aims to equip students with the skills to work with large, dynamic financial data systems and use them for effective business management. The program bridges the gap between CFOs and data scientists, fostering effective communication and strategy. It enhances financial, technical, and strategic skills, preparing graduates for pivotal roles in various organizations. The program's objective is to prepare students to meet the challenges of rapidly evolving data science and information technology in finance. They acquire tools for optimal financial data management (PowerBi, Tableau, IBM Planning Analytics, and Alteryx) and programming languages for machine learning and AI (Python and R). The program includes role-playing exercises with professionals from major companies and consultants specializing in data and corporate finance. The program is a full-time, 26-month (maximum) Master of Science degree taught in English, with face-to-face instruction at the Paris campus. It starts September 1st, 2025, and has 30 places available. The entry level is BAC +3, BAC +4, and includes a 4-6 month internship or work experience. The program boasts an 83% satisfaction rate and an average promotion age of 30.

The program is structured across two years.
Year 1 (Nantes):
Focuses on general management. The first semester covers advanced management courses including Financial Analysis, Management Control, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurial project & business plan, Business Simulation, Customer Experience & Branding, Financing an International Project, Managing and leading a Team, Cyber Security, a foreign language, and Sport. The second semester includes 10 courses in ecological and social transition management (at Ecole Gaia by Audencia), covering topics such as Ecology and biodiversity, Climate science for business, Geopolitical strategies of energy and technology, Impact finance, Nature inspired innovation & marketing, Strategizing and ethical challenges, Spreading impact, Consulting project for sustainable business, Introduction to research methods, a foreign language, and Sport. An optional internship in France or abroad is available during July-August. Students with a BAC+4 level can directly join Year 2.
Year 2 (Paris):
Specializes in Data Management in Corporate Finance. The curriculum includes specialized courses in this field (examples provided below), running from September to March. From April to November, students undertake an internship or work experience in France or abroad. A Master's thesis is completed from January to November. Students with a 4-year undergraduate degree can directly join Year 2.

Assessment:
The program uses continuous monitoring, written exams, a final dissertation, and group work for assessment.
Teaching:
The program uses a combination of theoretical and practical face-to-face sessions, case studies with corporate finance software, group work with software, and interactive lessons. The faculty includes members from the finance, accounting/management control, and information systems/AI departments. The program uses a "bilingual" finance/data science approach to teaching.
Careers:
Graduates can pursue roles in start-ups, business finance companies, consultancy firms, investment companies, insurance companies, audit companies, and IT companies (depending on background). Example job titles include management controller, business analyst, auditor, RAF (administrative and financial manager), and data and corporate finance consultant.
