Degree Overview:

The Business Administration Department offers a Bachelor's degree program with five specializations: Entrepreneurial & Sustainability (E&S), International Business (IB), Accounting & Finance (ACC & Fin), Marketing (MKT), and Human Resource Management (HRM). The program is structured across preparatory, certificate, intermediate, and honors levels. Students select a specialization upon entering the intermediate level (Degree Year 2). The intermediate and honors levels vary by specialization.

  • Entrepreneurial & Sustainability (E&S): Includes modules such as Introduction to Business, Introduction to Behavioral Sciences, Business Communication, Business Math, and many others across all levels.
  • Specific modules at the intermediate level include E-Business, Entrepreneurial Businesses & Innovation, Business Ethics & Social Responsibility, Operations Management, Quantitative Methods, Human Resource Management, and International Business. Honors level modules include Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Strategic Management, Sustainable Development, Project Management, and Special Topics in Entrepreneurship.
  • International Business (IB): Shares many preparatory and certificate level modules with E&S.
  • Intermediate level core modules are similar to E&S, with the addition of International Business. Honors level modules include Supply Chain Management, Management of Multinational Companies, Public Administration, Strategic Management, Sustainable Development, Project Management, Special Topics in International Business, Cross Cultural Management, and International Marketing.
  • Accounting & Finance (ACC & Fin): Preparatory and certificate levels are identical to E&S and IB.
  • The intermediate level introduces sub-specializations within Accounting and Finance, with modules like E-Business, Entrepreneurial Businesses & Innovation, Business Ethics & Social Responsibility, Operations Management, Quantitative Methods, Banking Management, Investment & Portfolio Management, and Intermediate Accounting. Honors level modules include Advanced Corporate Finance, Business Valuation, Business Modeling & Forecasting, and Cost & Managerial Accounting for the Accounting specialization and other finance-specific modules.
  • Marketing (MKT): Preparatory and certificate levels are identical to the other specializations.
  • Intermediate level core modules are similar to other specializations, with the addition of Customer Relationship Management and Consumer Behavior. Honors level modules include Brand Management, Marketing Research, Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing Communications, Special Topics in Marketing, International Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Strategy & Planning.
  • Human Resource Management (HRM): Preparatory and certificate levels are identical to other specializations.

  • Management Information System (MIS): This specialization is currently suspended.

The Management Information System (MIS) major is currently suspended. The program is taught at all levels from the preparatory year onwards. Students choose their specialization in Degree Year 2 (Intermediate Level).
