The 18-month EMBA program consists of:

  • Core Courses: Five compulsory weeks of core courses.
  • Four weeks are held at the BI Norwegian Business School campus in Oslo, and one week at the Haas School of Business in Berkeley. Specific dates are provided: 17-22 February 2025 (Oslo), 5-10 May 2025 (Oslo), 8-13 September 2025 (Oslo), 2-6 February 2026 (Berkeley), and 21-24 September 2026 (Oslo).
  • Elective Courses: Students choose three out of nine elective courses.
  • Each elective lasts one week and is delivered as in-class on-campus sessions. Dates are provided for some electives: 9-13 June 2025 (Oslo), 24-28 November 2025 (Madrid, Potsdam, or Stockholm), 1-5 June 2026 (Shanghai) or 8-12 June 2026 (Oslo).
  • Online Sessions: Students attend 4-hour webinars on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings every other week between in-class sessions.
  • One-Year Consultancy Project: A team-based project addressing real-life business challenges, applying learnings from the program.

Teaching:

The program utilizes a case-based learning methodology with a practical approach. The consultancy project provides hands-on experience tackling real-world business challenges.
