Degree Overview:
The Inter-university Master's Degree in Health Data Science (MHEDAS) is a 120 ECTS, online program taught in English. The program is a collaboration between seven Catalan universities (Universitat Rovira i Virgili as the coordinating university, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Girona, Universitat de Lleida, Universitat de Vic), the Université Grenoble Alpes, Bioinformatics Barcelona (BIB), and various hospitals and companies in the biomedical or pharmaceutical sector. The program receives funding from the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT Health). The vision is to train the next generation of innovators in digital health, producing health data scientists with an entrepreneurial vision, international and multidisciplinary vocation, and practical experience and soft skills to adapt to the evolving digital health environment. A summer school brings together experts from collaborating institutions.
Teaching:
