The Associate's Degree/Specialization in Strategic Management aims to provide a solid foundation in Business Administration and Management. It's designed for professionals of various backgrounds, with or without prior experience in the field, who want to enhance their professional training with solid knowledge and management skills. The program addresses the need for continuous professional updating in today's fast-paced and competitive business environment. The program's methodology is clear, comprehensive, and didactically designed. Upon successful completion, students receive a Specialization in Strategic Management degree from the university where they enrolled.

  • Understand the entire process of administrative functions and business processes.
  • Understand the role of ICT in business management.

Outline:

The Strategic Management program has a total of 48 credits and consists of two parts:


Part 1: Subjects (38 credits, 380 hours):

This part provides a comprehensive understanding of Strategic Management, covering theoretical, conceptual, historical, organizational, administrative, social, and economic aspects. The goal is to offer a holistic view of Strategic Management. The subjects are independent but structured in a pedagogical order. Each subject is divided into thematic units or chapters, with printed materials for study and assessment activities. The subjects and their respective hours are: Business management and administration (40 hours) Cost Management and Control (30 hours) Financial Management (40 hours) Strategic Management and Planning (40 hours) Strategic Management of Human Resources (30 hours) e-Business and its Integration with Corporate Management Systems (50 hours) Marketing (40 hours) Project Planning and Management (40 hours) Engineering, strategy and management of ICT systems (40 hours) Organizational Management and Leadership Techniques (30 hours)


Teaching:

The program utilizes a methodology that integrates knowledge and skills acquisition through integrative exercises and project practices. The duration is flexible, ranging from 9 to 12 months depending on student dedication. Successful completion requires passing all evaluated activities and the Final Project (if applicable). The teaching staff includes numerous Doctors and Masters-level instructors from various universities, with expertise in areas such as economics, business administration, engineering, project management, human resources, and psychology.

Other:

FUNIBER (Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana) offers training scholarships periodically. The Evaluation Committee determines scholarship eligibility. One ECTS credit is equivalent to 10-15 hours, but this may differ for universities outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
