Outline:

The Master in Strategic Management program has a 90-credit structure (credit equivalence may vary depending on the university). The duration is 12-24 months, depending on student dedication, requiring successful completion of all evaluated activities and the final project. The program is divided into six compulsory modules:


1st PART: Fundamentals of Business Management (150 hours):

Provides an overview of the company (functions, processes, components), and corporate and commercial language. Includes:

  • Financial Management (40 hours): Covers corporate finance, financial statements analysis, performance management, working capital management, liquidity analysis, and investment decisions analysis.
  • Marketing (40 hours): Explains marketing and sales roles, concepts, and techniques, including commercial analysis, adaptation to market changes, and international marketing.

2nd PART: Human Resources (155 hours):

Focuses on complex human relations and successful staff management and leadership. Includes:

  • Strategic Management of Human Resources (30 hours): Covers strategic HRM, technology for diagnosis, prediction, and monitoring, and strategic planning in HR.
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Techniques (30 hours): Covers conflict analysis, resolution strategies (negotiation, mediation, arbitration), and necessary competencies.
  • Performance Appraisal and Competency-based Management (25 hours): Emphasizes competency-based management, professional competency development, and competency-based performance appraisal.

  • ISO 45001 (30 hours): Presents the active model and planning of preventive activity for occupational risk prevention.

  • Operations Management and Direction (30 hours): Covers production system design, supply chain management, and purchasing and supply management.

4th PART: Strategy (170 hours):

Covers the strategic process, from company creation to implementation. Includes:

  • Strategic Management and Planning (40 hours): Focuses on strategic thinking, change management, and business strategies.
  • Project Planning and Management (40 hours): Covers project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and acquisition planning.
