The Specialization in Direction and Production of Film, Video, and Television program aims to train professionals in the film, video, and television production industry, focusing on the application of audiovisual multimedia in creating new entertainment products. The program is designed for non-university individuals seeking specialization in the audiovisual area, professionals in communication and advertising wishing to consolidate their knowledge, and certified or Associate Degree Graduates aiming to improve job prospects. Upon successful completion, students receive a degree in Specialization in Direction and Production of Film, Video, and Television awarded by the university where they enrolled. The program's curriculum equips students with skills in design, management, production control, planning, technical processes, and expressive image and sound operation for film, video, and television production. Objectives include learning to evaluate the implementation of audiovisual projects, thinking critically about production to optimize resources, identifying key elements for managing and planning projects, and participating in the development of audiovisual products.


Outline:

The program consists of 54 credits, structured into two parts and completed within 12 months.

  • Part 1: Subjects (43 credits): This part provides theoretical, conceptual, and historical foundations of audiovisual production, followed by organizational, social, and technological implementation.
  • The eleven subjects are: 1. Video and television technology (4 credits) 2. Design and Organization of Audiovisual Production (4 credits) 3. The Audiovisual Script (4 credits) 4. Audiovisual Language and Narrative (4 credits) 5. Cinema Technology (4 credits) 6. Sound Collection, Recording and Post Production (4 credits) 7. Evolution of Audiovisual Language and Communication (4 credits) 8. Lighting Techniques (4 credits) 9. Direction of Photography (4 credits) 10. Television Production (4 credits) 11. Technical Development (3 credits) These subjects progress from simple to complex concepts, each divided into thematic units with printed study materials and assessments.

Teaching:
