The program covers marketing, technology development, legal aspects, organizational change and innovation, knowledge management, and organizational learning. The program is designed for professionals from various fields, with or without experience, who want to expand their knowledge for application in the workplace or focus their careers on new technologies in e-business. Target audiences include those in ERP management, organizational web communication, internet marketing and social networking, technological leadership and innovation projects, consulting, entrepreneurship, internet business generation, sales channel management, and e-business plan management. The general objective is to equip individuals with the knowledge to incorporate new technologies and the internet into business processes for improved efficiency and cost reduction. Specific objectives include understanding the impact of new technologies on companies, interpreting business phenomena, analyzing the influence of the Information Society and new technologies on business models, and developing e-business strategies.


Outline:

The program is structured into three parts:

  • Part 1: Subjects (41 credits): This section provides theoretical, conceptual, and historical foundations of e-business, along with its organizational, social, and economic implementation.
  • The goal is to achieve a global vision to support business performance with e-commerce solutions. The subjects include:
  • Management and Strategic Planning (4 credits)
  • Reengineering, Strategy, and Information of Systems and ICT (4 credits)
  • Electronic Commerce and Marketing (6 credits)
  • Electronic Security and Legislation (6 credits)
  • Business Intelligence and Document Management (6 credits)
  • Integration of Company Management Systems (5 credits)
  • Information and Change Society (4 credits)
  • ICT Project Management (6 credits)
  • Part 2: Case Study Resolution (10 credits): This involves solving a practical case study proposed by the student or lecturer.
  • Part 3: Final Project (10 credits): This is a final project applying the knowledge acquired throughout the program.
  • This part is only required if the regulations of the university or organization issuing the degree mandate it. The total credits are 61 with a previous qualification and 51 without.
