Program Overview

The Master's Degree in Assisted Human Reproduction enhances training in human infertility and embryology. It offers a comprehensive curriculum in reproductive medicine, management skills, and research methodology. Students can specialize in medical professions or management roles in human reproduction units, fostering knowledge and research development to address infertility and improve reproductive medicine practices.

Program Outline

Degree Overview:

The Master's Degree in Assisted Human Reproduction aims to enhance the training of students interested in human reproduction. It focuses on clinical aspects of human infertility and necessary embryology laboratory skills. The program is designed to be an academic reference, fostering knowledge and research development to generate skills and sustainable solutions for human infertility and reproductive medicine. It integrates participants' experiences with up-to-date academic and professional information, emphasizing human fertility and reproductive medicine. The program caters to two main student profiles: those with bachelor's degrees in Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, Biology, or related fields (including medical specializations in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, etc. ), seeking professionalization or further research opportunities; and those with unrelated degrees (e.g., business administration, economics, psychology) aiming to manage human reproduction units effectively. Upon successful completion, students receive a Master's Degree in Assisted Human Reproduction from the enrolled university.

Objectives:

  • General Objective: To train specialists with a multidisciplinary profile in infertility and reproductive medicine, improving professional performance through new knowledge and clinical tools for better service in human reproduction units.
  • Specific Objectives:
  • Strengthen the theoretical-philosophical basis of reproductive medicine and embryology labs, emphasizing logical thinking and scientific reasoning.
  • Develop skills for effective knowledge management in reproductive medicine and embryology labs.
  • Assess the importance of education in professional endeavors, individually and collectively.
  • Manage care for infertile patients through multidisciplinary teams, considering scientific and technological advances.
  • Establish effective communication and leadership with individuals, families, communities, and healthcare teams.
  • Contribute to improving reproductive medicine services to meet health needs.
  • Promote research aimed at professional practice.

Careers:

Potential career paths include:

  • Health professions specialized in Reproductive Medicine (depending on the student's specialization).
  • Management roles in human reproduction units in specialized medical centers.
  • Note: Professional practice is subject to each country's legislation. This internship allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting and offers customization options. INEBIR performs various assisted reproduction treatments and has a technologically advanced laboratory. The internship has an additional cost, and students are responsible for travel and accommodation. Alternative arrangements may be possible for students unable to travel to INEBIR. FUNIBER offers training scholarships. The program content is subject to minor modifications based on updates and improvements. The program's duration is flexible, depending on the student's dedication.
