The TQUK Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (RQF) covers these topics: Understanding child and young person development; Supporting learning activities; Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people; Communication and professional relationships with children, young people, and adults; Schools as organisations. To earn the award, individuals must complete 4 mandatory units totaling 12 credits. These units are:
- Communication and professional relationships with children, young people and adults: Level 3, 2 credits.
- Schools as organisations: Level 3, 3 credits.
- Understand Child and Young Person Development: Level 3, 4 credits.
- Understand How to Safeguard the Wellbeing of Children and Young People: Level 3, 3 credits. The course is available in two durations: 3 months (fast track) and 4 months.
