The MSc – Master of Science Corporate Finance & Fintech at Clermont School of Business aims to address the shortage of highly-certified financial skills in financial technologies. The program provides the technical and business skills needed to pass the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification, considered the most recognized financial certification globally. The objective is to prepare future CFA charterholders for careers in the digital financial industry (Fintech). The program is rigorous, linking Corporate Finance and Fintech with a professional orientation. Teaching is provided by Clermont School of Business professors and industry leaders from companies like Michelin, Limagrain, Amundi, Bloomberg, and Domraider, as well as partners such as CFA Society France and Aalen University. The program focuses on building skills in financial statement analysis, statistics, economics, asset and portfolio management, pricing of financial instruments, understanding financial markets, applying digital practices in finance, and utilizing coding and blockchain technology. It differentiates itself through innovative and participatory teaching, a curriculum developed with partner companies, access to company networks and alumni, and its accreditation by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles. The program offers the possibility of obtaining a Double Degree by completing a semester at Aalen University in Germany as part of the MSc in Financial Management. Students undertake an internship or work placement for a minimum of 4 months in France, Europe, or elsewhere. This internship is supervised individually, and students complete a professional thesis followed by an oral defense and in-company evaluation. The Clermont-Ferrand campus is located in the city center, within walking distance of transportation. 95% of students walk or take the tram to class, and 70% live within 10 minutes of the campus.
