Award in Mental Health at the Place of Work

Program Overview

The Award in Mental Health at the Place of Work is a Level 5 program designed for individuals working or aspiring to work in HR. This 2-month program focuses on the assessment and management of mental health in the workplace, equipping learners with the knowledge and skills to mitigate its impact on employees, teams, and overall organizational success. Assessed through assignments, the program is offered in English with both face-to-face and work-based learning options starting in October 2024.

Program Outline

• Identify best approaches and methods for successful intervention in situations related to the mental health and wellbeing of the employees.
• Reflect on ways in which mental health has an impact on employee performance as well as on the overall success of the organization.
• Identify various tools and methods for the effective prevention of negative mental health situations at the workplace.

Assessment:

The Award in Mental Health at the Place of Work is assessed through an assignment.

The program is intended for individuals aged 21+ who aspire to work or are already working in the HR field.
