Degree Overview:

The Award in Research Methods in Business equips learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively prepare a research proposal and conduct a full research project. This in-depth exploration covers the main methodologies used for data gathering and analysis, transforming data into meaningful insights, and presenting findings in a clear and impactful way.

Objectives:

By the end of this award, learners will have been exposed to:

• Carry out effective literature review in preparation for the research proposal and research project
• Produce an original and valuable research project
• Deal with challenges which might arise during research and also list such challenges and limitations correctly
• Carry out effective data analysis using both quantitative and qualitative research methods
• Create effective research proposals

Assessment:

The Award in Research Methods in Business will be assessed through a research proposal and a reflective journal.

• This qualification is awarded by Central Mediterranean Business School (CMBS).
• This qualification is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority.
MFHEA deems the Award in Research Methods in Business to be at Level 6 in the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.
