Objectives:

By the end of this Award, learners will have been exposed to:

• Use emotional intelligence in an effective way to self-regulate, self-motivate and be more self-aware
• Develop one’s self-awareness and reflective practice techniques
• Outline the benefits of interpersonal skills from a personal point of view and in the professional life
• Examplify ways to develop one’s interpersonal skills such as implementing a self-evaluation outlining strengths and weaknesses
• Examplify ways in which interpersonal skills lead to enhanced and better performing teams
• Indicate how interpersonal skills affect individuals in becoming effective leaders
