Program Overview

SCL International College offers English language courses tailored to international students, with a focus on speaking and listening skills. The courses cover all four language skills and range from General English to Super Intensive English, with a minimum entry level of CEFR A1. All teachers are native English speakers certified to teach foreign students, ensuring quality instruction and support for students adjusting to London life.

Teaching:

• All teachers are native English speakers and are certified to teach foreign students.
• The vast majority of them have experience teaching overseas.
• All staff understand the specific needs that international students may have when coming to London, especially if it's their first time alone in the city.

Other:

• SCL International College offers General English, Intensive English, and Super Intensive English courses.
• The General English course is designed to help students communicate successfully and confidently in real-life situations.
• The Intensive English course is perfect for those who are dedicated and ambitious and want to make fast progress.
• The Super Intensive English course is ideal for those looking to make quick improvements.
• All courses have a focus on speaking and listening, but students have the chance to practise all four skills, helping them reach their full potential.
• The minimum level required for all courses is CEFR A1.
• Courses start every Monday and have a minimum length of 1 week.
• Each lesson is 45 minutes long.
• At the end of the courses, students will benefit from improved speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, a better understanding of English grammar, a wider range of vocabulary, and more confidence with the English language.
• SCL International College offers a variety of optional add-ons, including meal plans, airport transfers, full day trips to Cambridge and other destinations, tickets to local attractions, and excursions around London.
