It examines the structure of an argumentative essay, employing a universal framework applicable to any topic. Practical advice is provided on brainstorming, online research, and evaluating the quality of information sources. Learners receive guidance on adopting the appropriate stance and voice in academic writing, ensuring contextual language and tone, and correct academic referencing. The final segment covers revising, editing, recognizing common university genres, and practical tips for identifying consistency, structure, formatting, and common writing errors.

The course utilizes modern and traditional teaching approaches, ensuring interactive, engaging, and effective classes. All teachers are native English speakers and certified to teach foreign students. The majority of them have experience teaching overseas and understand the specific needs of international students coming to London, especially first-timers.

The course is designed to enhance confidence, fluency, and accuracy in English for academic or professional contexts. It is suitable for students with a minimum CEFR level of B2. The course duration can range from 1 week to 1 year, with 20 weekly lessons of 45 minutes each. The maximum class size is 15 students.
