The principal aim of the course is to prepare you for degree courses in Business and Management-related programmes, and as such, you will be encouraged to apply theories to practical situations. Your coursework allows you to trace the different stages of starting a business and navigate the internal and external challenges which businesses encounter.
- Accounting: You'll learn the basic concepts of financial and managerial accounting as a valuable way of understanding how businesses work in general. The Accounting module gives you an introduction to basic accounting principles and helps you to apply these principles in different situations.
- Economics: The third module, Economics, combines a study of micro and macro content in exploring a range of economic issues drawn from national and international contexts.
