The Master in Design and Construction Management of Sports Infrastructures trains high-level professionals in the planning, design, construction, and management of sports facilities. Degree Overview:

The Master in Design and Construction Management of Sports Infrastructures aims to train high-level professionals capable of operating successfully in the conception, planning, design, construction, and management of sports infrastructures. The program emphasizes cross-cutting and multidisciplinary logics and skills. It offers the opportunity to acquire technical and procedural skills to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals, both domestically and internationally, who can handle the complexity of decision-making and management processes for sports infrastructure design and optimization. The program focuses on both new and existing infrastructure and their integration into the territory.

Objectives:

• Train professionals capable of operating in the conception, planning, design, construction, and management of sports infrastructures.

Outline:

The program is structured in lectures, individual study, tutorials, tours, workshops, and a 300-hour internship (optional). It includes six training modules covering the main disciplinary areas involved in the formation of a designer and manager of sports infrastructures. The modules are closely related through a multidisciplinary and multi-scale approach.

The program includes lectures, studio activities, workshops, targeted visits, study trips, and internships at excellent institutions and companies of both public and private nature.

Careers:

The Master intends to create a qualified designer able to operate in the areas of architectural and engineering design from planning stages to the Infrastructure Lifecycle Management, sport clubs, leagues, federations, public administrations, construction companies, service companies for sports, real estate companies, and any group affected by the transformations of the contemporary city.

Other:

• The Master is open to engineers, architects, planners, professional studios, architecture and engineering companies, construction companies, consultants, managers of sports companies and public bodies, operators of sports and real estate.
• The Master will be the focal point of a network aimed at the establishment of a Studio of studies and researches for design, construction, and management of sports facilities, capable of operating worldwide with innovative forms and instruments.
• The training aims to produce technological innovation in different fields and to improve the results achieved in research in the fields of architecture, engineering, and design applied to sport.
• The Master fosters a continuous update through the figures and firms of the course's network.
• The program has a duration of 1500 hours.
