Program Overview

This two-day short course combines self-paced online modules and virtual instructor-led lectures and problem-solving for professionals using seismic data who want to familiarize themselves with inversion and attributes. The program is part of PetroSkills' Basic Geophysics program and is designed for those who need to understand and use seismic data at a basic level or communicate with others who use it. Participants will learn how to explain seismic inversion processes, identify relative and absolute impedance in seismic inversion, understand inversion algorithms, and use attributes.
