Program Overview
An Undergraduate Foundation is a one-year (3 term) programme which offers successful students a pathway to UK university. Students will typically study 3-4 subjects, depending on the pathway chosen or the intended progression degree, as well as English Language. One of the most important requirements for university entry is English language level and as well as filling any academic gaps, English language is critical for success. Students, on average, may spend up to five hours per week per subject in class and be expected to allocate a similar number of hours to independent study. Degree Overview:
The Infection Control Track of the Masters program in Biomedical Science at the College of Medicine, Alfaisal University is a two-year full-time program designed to provide specialized and individualized training in the field of infection prevention and control. Students will receive training in advanced theoretical and practical aspects of infection prevention and control. Graduates from this program will be prepared to work as infection prevention specialists in healthcare settings at an advanced level. They will have achieved the competencies for developing and leading infection prevention programs in healthcare facilities. The curriculum designed for this program is in line with international standards and ensures that students will achieve important core competencies defined by international accreditation agencies for infection prevention specialists.
Careers:
Graduates from this program will be prepared to work as infection prevention specialists in healthcare settings at an advanced level. They will have achieved the competencies for developing and leading infection prevention programs in healthcare facilities.

Based on letter number 18003583 dated 27/01/1440H 7 Oct 2018 from SCHS university Graduate programs / Clinical and nonclinical ,are not required to have SHCS approval or accreditation. The only approval required for any program is from MOE and NCAAA.
