The program is structured as a 1-year full-time course. It includes core modules covering:
- Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chain Management: This module explores the latest developments in green logistics and supply chain management, focusing on sustainability, low-carbon futures, decarbonization practices, and challenges. It also discusses the success and failure of greening interventions and presents future trends and directions in the field.
- Supply Chain Technology: This module introduces students to various technologies used in logistics and supply chain management, such as RFID and barcodes. It covers the theories and principles behind these technologies and demonstrates their practical applications in real-life scenarios.
- Logistics System: This module focuses on the three major activities of logistics systems: order processing, inventory management, and freight transportation. It explores the theories and principles underpinning logistics systems, highlights managerial issues, and presents decision support methods and emerging trends in global logistics. It also introduces operational research (OR) as a tool for supporting OM decision-making processes.
- Supply Chain Accounting and Finance: This module examines developments in supply chain accounting and finance, focusing on new organizational forms and their impact on accounting and finance practices.
