  • NHS Learning Support Fund: Students can apply for the NHS Learning Support Fund, which provides a training grant of £5,000 per academic year, reimbursement for clinical placement travel costs, and additional funding for students with dependent children or those facing hardship.
  • Occupational Health Screening: All students undergo an occupational health screening, including immunizations and a DBS check, which are covered by the tuition fee.
  • Placement Support: Students receive support from hospital supervisors, assessors, academic staff, and a dedicated Clinical Practice Support Educator during their clinical placements.
  • Apprenticeships: The University of Sheffield also offers degree apprenticeship routes into Nursing, including a Nursing Associate program and an 18-month Nursing Top-up program.

Note:

The program is not currently open to international applicants due to limitations in clinical placement capacity.
