Through networking events, site visits, and immersive learning, participants develop tools and techniques to lead and manage effectively in dynamic organizations. By leveraging the UN Sustainable Development Goals, they gain a comprehensive understanding of the interconnectedness between business, society, and the environment.
Program Outline
Degree Overview:
This course is focused on developing an appreciation of leadership through a sustainability lens and the importance of innovation and change within a dynamic organisation. Learners will also explore the behaviours and practice required to lead and manage in new ways. The course team will host a networking reception on the Monday evening and there will be a site visit on the Wednesday afternoon to learn from an organisation who demonstrate excellence in driving the sustainability agenda.
Outline:
This is an applied and practical leadership course to give you tools and techniques to apply in your own organisation or assist you in taking a new career direction. The topics covered include:
- Speed of change and global challenges
- Social, environmental and economic responsibility and sustainability (adopting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs))
- Entrepreneurial leadership
- Leading change
- Business innovation
Teaching:
The course team will host a networking reception on the Monday evening and there will be a site visit on the Wednesday afternoon to learn from an organisation who demonstrate excellence in driving the sustainability agenda.

With a further 121 coaching session (online) and successful completion of appropriate assessment, learners can be awarded an ILM Leadership and Management Level 7 Certificate in Evolving approaches in leadership and management.
