Program Overview

- To equip students with the necessary theoretical, empirical, and practical foundation to work with, manage, and/or study offenders in general and specific offending populations.

The certificate program focuses on specific types of offenders, including drug offenders, women offenders, white collar offenders, gang-involved offenders, juvenile offenders, and mentally-disordered offenders. It is ideal for students majoring in criminal justice, psychology, or social work, or for any student wishing to gain a deeper understanding about forensic populations.

- The certificate program is open to all UC students, including criminal justice students.
