UC's Neonatal Nurse Practitioner MSN program prepares nurses for acute and chronic management of patients from birth through 2 years old. The program is available to Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana residents and offers core classes online, along with an intensive component, which students can attend on campus or virtually. Neonatal NPs work in pediatric clinics and hospitals, often in emergency and delivery rooms or neonatal intensive care units.

Applicants to UC's Neonatal NP MSN online program must have at least one year of full-time level II, III, or IV NICU experience. Those who have one year of experience at the time of admission must continue working and have two years of experience before clinicals start in year two.
