Program Overview
The University of Cincinnati's Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Pre-Medicine program combines the MLS curriculum with pre-med requirements, preparing students for both medical laboratory careers and entry into medical and other professional health care programs. Degree Overview:
The University of Cincinnati Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Pre-Medicine is a unique program and track that allows students to complete the standard MLS program while substituting and adding some additional courses to fulfill common pre-med requirements. This track replaces Biochemistry with Organic Chemistry and adds Physics. Students should work with their academic advisor to determine any specific courses required for the programs they are applying to. The program prepares students for entry into medical and other professional health care programs, while also equipping them for a career in the in-demand Medical Laboratory Science profession.
