Postgraduate microcredential in Partnership and Collaboration
Program Overview
This 8-week online course from INLOGOV explores collaborative dynamics within the public sector. Participants will develop practical skills to facilitate a joined-up approach to stakeholder engagement, leading to outcome-driven partnerships that create public value. The course equips participants for senior government and policy roles, as well as positions in local councils, education, social services, and Parliament. Upon completion, participants can use their 10 academic credits towards an advanced entry into the University of Birmingham's online Master of Public Administration qualification.

Objectives:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain the key drivers of collaborative and partnership working
- Analyze the benefits of collaborative and partnership strategies
- Identify attitudes, behaviors, and organizational cultures that expedite and hinder collaborative and partnership strategy
- Demonstrate the ability to construct an outcome-driven, public value-producing, joined-up approach to collaborative and partnership strategy
- Appraise models for mapping and measuring the impacts of collaborative and partnership strategies on different stakeholder groups and the implications of engaging these groups in partnership working.

- The course is worth 10 academic credits and can be used for advanced entry to the University of Birmingham's full Online Masters of Public Administration (MPA) qualification.
