Leadership in Public Services - Short Course
Program Overview
This 8-week online course from the University of Birmingham's INLOGOV provides practical insights into public service leadership, granting participants a postgraduate micro-credential and 10 academic credits. Participants will gain critical analysis, change management, and team leadership skills, equipping them for careers in local government, policy, education, and social services. Upon completion, they can transfer credits towards the full Online Masters of Public Administration qualification.

This 8-week short course, delivered by the Institute of Local Government Studies (INLOGOV), provides practical insights into public service policies and practices worldwide. It aims to help participants develop effective leadership skills applicable to various public sector roles. Upon completion, participants receive a University of Birmingham postgraduate micro-credential certificate (worth 10 academic credits) and a transcript. These credits can be used for advanced entry into the University of Birmingham's Online Masters of Public Administration (MPA) qualification.
