Program Overview

The Master's in Chinese Language and Literature at UMass Amherst allows students to tailor their studies to their career goals, preparing them for doctoral study, translation, interpretation, or language teaching. The program offers unique training in classical, manuscript, and modern Chinese language, as well as in both modern and pre-modern Chinese literatures and cultures.
