Honors Independent Study in Math

Program Overview

This independent study program allows students to design and undertake a self-paced project with faculty guidance. Students must demonstrate qualitative and quantitative enrichment in their proposed project, which may involve research, creative work, or other scholarly endeavors. Completion of this stand-alone course requires frequent interaction between the student and faculty sponsor.

Teaching:

This is a stand-alone independent study designed by the student and faculty sponsor that involves frequent interaction between instructor and student. Qualitative and quantitative enrichment must be evident on the proposed contract before consent is given to undertake the study.
