The IPF Certificate, IPF Diploma, and MSc Real Estate Investment and Finance (IPF Entry Route) program is a flexible pathway offered in partnership with the Investment Property Forum (IPF). It is designed for individuals seeking to advance their careers in real estate finance. The program is delivered part-time and consists of professional development courses taught by leading figures in property investment and academia. The program aims to equip students with the latest knowledge and skills in investment, finance, and property, enabling them to stay ahead in a fast-moving global market. It provides a unique advantage through the IPF's industry-recognized education program.

Outline:

The program offers three distinct pathways:

• IPF Certificate in Property Investment:
• Consists of an introductory online course, "Introduction to Property Investment," followed by two 4-5-day face-to-face courses: "Corporate Finance" and "Real Estate Portfolio Management."
• Listed by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as a Key 2 Appropriate Examination under the Managing Investments activity.
• Holders of the IPF Certificate need to complete a Key 3 qualification (UK regulatory examination) to meet the full examination requirements for this activity.
• Upon completion of the Certificate, students are eligible to undertake three additional modules to gain the IPF Diploma.
• IPF Diploma in Property Investment:
• Achieved by completing five modules: "Real Estate Investment Appraisal," "Real Estate Securities," "Real Estate Portfolio Management," "Corporate Finance," and "Real Estate Funding."
• Supported by Real Estate & Planning's Virtual Learning Environment.
• Successful completion of the IPF Diploma fast-tracks full IPF membership and allows the designation "DipIPF" after the name.
• MSc Real Estate Investment & Finance (IPF Entry Route):
• Requires successful completion of the IPF Diploma, which provides 100 credits towards the MSc degree.
• Students need to take an additional 80 credits delivered in Reading to attain the MSc.
• The IPF Diploma achieved prior to September 2016 also qualifies students for the Flexible Masters program.

Assessment:

• Each classroom module is assessed individually through coursework submitted around 8 weeks after the module completion.
• Assessment is optional for those attending on a CPD basis (not pursuing the Certificate or Diploma).
• Successful completion of module assessments leads to the IPF Certificate.
• Successful completion of all six modules leads to the Investment Property Forum Diploma.
